Review of Socioeconomic Indicators Survey (IRIS)

21.03.2024 – Social phenomena are constantly and rapidly changing due to technology, which makes innovations fast and pervasive. For this reason, it is necessary to develop new data collection tools and new parameters to better understand the emerging value and socio-economic dimensions.

Inapp, as a public research body, carries out analyses and surveys to understand these changes and, as a public advisor, proposes solutions and scenarios to better manage the demand for public services and policies.

In this context, the first edition of the ongoing IRIS survey is part of the RIS (Revision of Socioeconomic Indicators) project, with the aim of understanding the changes introduced by technological, cultural and organisational transitions and of developing new survey parameters and tools.

The survey is aimed at individuals aged between 18 and 65, reached through social media channels. Participants in the survey receive four thematic modules of about 10 minutes each, which can be completed on different devices.

The first module deals with the world of work and how it is increasingly complex. The second deals with public goods and services: value, use and satisfaction. The third proposes social measures: risks, preferences and knowledge. Finally, the fourth looks at the choices, dilemmas and options we face daily.
