10.01.2024 – Created and organised by the RIDAP network, FIERIDA is the most important national event on Adult Learning in Italy. It will take place in Milan, from 18 to 20 January.
Organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, Bicocca University, the CPIA network of Lombardy, the RIUAP network and the USR of Lombardy, the 8th edition of FIERIDA aims at highlighting the strategic function of CPIAs (i.e. Provincial Centres for Adult Education) with respect to the cultural, economic and social development of different Italian territories.
In the context of the European Year of Skills, the present edition of FIERIDA shall convey the message that adult education is apt to fulfil a crucial role in a rapidly evolving society. Indivuduals endowed with the right skills will be able to put them to good use in seeking high-quality employment and fully express their own potential as active and aware citizens.
The program includes four round-table meetings in which several experts of international renown, together representatives of CPIAs and of central and peripheral administrative bodies, will analyse the network and interrelationships of CPIAs, Italian territories and local communities.
