Dr Loriano Bigi has been appointed Director General of Inapp as of 11 April 2024, by resolution of the Board of Directors no. 1 of 11 April 2024.
The Director General is responsible for the administrative management of the Institute and sees to the implementation of the resolutions of the Board of Directors and the President.
In particular, he ensures the administrative co-ordination of all the Institute’s branches in implementing the policies, plans, programmes and general directives defined by the President and the Board of Directors, and the staff organisation activities; he draws up, in accordance with the guidelines indicated by the President, the three-year planning of activities, requirements and the Institute’s organisational and operational regulations.
He is chosen among experts with high professional qualifications, also from outside the public administration.
The Director General is appointed by the Board of Directors on the President’s proposal and his term of office is four years, renewable once.
